CVTL Joins Forces for Search and Rescue Operation Effort in Dili, Timor-Leste.

In a coordinated effort to address a recent tragedy, the Civil Protection Authority (APC), Fire Brigade, Maritime Police Unit-PNTL, Dive Academy, and CVTL, joined forces. The collaboration comes in response to a missing person who was later found drowned in Dili on March 17, 2024.

CVTL mobilized its Search and Rescue Team to assist in the search and rescue operation. With the situation being of utmost urgency, the joint team used specialized techniques and equipment to comb the waters and surrounding areas.

During the search, local communities and residents from the area were asked to provide any relevant information or assistance that could aid in the search efforts. The collective support and solidarity from the community are seen as integral components in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation.

Authorities involved in the operation have emphasized the significance of cooperation and coordination among different agencies during such critical times. They highlighted the importance of pooling resources and expertise to maximize the chances of a successful outcome in search and rescue missions.
