CVTL and the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) will host National Societies from the USA, New Zealand, Indonesia and Australia along with International NGO’s; United Nations and Government Ministries to focus on CVTL’s capacity development for sustainable service deliver and the scale-up of integrated risk reduction and resilience building programme for vulnerable people in Timor-Leste.

CVTL President, Ms Madalena Hanjan, said today “this has been a wonderful opportunity for CVTL to show other Red Cross Societies from around the world, NGO’s and Government partners, the great work that we do in focusing on our mission of working with the most vulnerable of Timor-Leste”.

“CVTL, which operates in all 13 Districts in Timor-Leste, has shown it has the capacity to effect change from within the most vulnerable communities in the country.
