Liquiça, 22 April 2026 – The Timor-Leste Red Cross (CVTL) organized a harmonization meeting with local authorities in Liquiça Municipality to present the progress and achievements of the Strengthening Social Inclusion and Nutrition in Timor-Leste (SSINTL) program, including preliminary data from the community database survey. The meeting was held at the CVTL Liquiça Branch building.
Mr. Juvinal Barreto, CVTL SSINTL Programme Manager, said that the objective of the meeting was to strengthen coordination among partners in the implementation of nutrition programs and to ensure sustainable nutrition outcomes in Timor-Leste, particularly in Liquiça Municipality.
Participants included representatives from the Office of the President of the Liquiça Municipal Authority, the Secretary III for Civil Society Affairs, the Municipal Health Service, CHC Maubara and Loes, PNTL Liquiça, SMASA Liquiça, Administrators of Liquiça, Maubara, and Loes Administrative Posts, as well as village chiefs.
A total of 10 participants attended the meeting, including 1 female and 9 male participants.
The SSINTL program is supported by the European Union (EU) in Timor-Leste.
