13 March 2026, CVTL NHQ – The Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL) expresses our sincere appreciation to two interns from the Department of Computer Technology and Informatics of the Professional Institute of Canossa, Abilio da Costa and Francisco Soares Pinto, who have successfully completed their two-month internship at CVTL.
During their internship, both interns provided valuable support, particularly in the field of Information Technology. They also contributed to the Department of External Relations and collaborated effectively with various departments across CVTL, demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and teamwork.
Representing the Professional Institute of Canossa, Mr. Apolinario dos Santos, S.T., M.T., expressed gratitude to CVTL for the opportunity given to the students. He highlighted that the internship allowed them to combine academic learning with practical experience, contributing significantly to their professional development. He also emphasized the strong partnership between CVTL and the Institute and expressed hope for continued cooperation in the future.
Speaking on behalf of the interns, Abilio da Costa conveyed his sincere thanks to CVTL for accepting them into the internship program. He also extended an apology for any shortcomings during their time at CVTL, acknowledging that as learners, they are continuously improving.
CVTL Secretary General, Mr. Agapito da Silva, expressed his appreciation to the Professional Institute of Canossa and the interns for choosing CVTL as a place to apply their knowledge. He also apologized for any limitations in facilities and working conditions, noting these as part of the organization’s current situation, and encouraged the interns to pursue success in their future careers, especially in today’s technology-driven world.
As a gesture of appreciation, the interns presented a traditional tais to the CVTL team. The small ceremony was attended by the Coordinator of the Department of External Relations, representatives from the IT and Communications Unit, the Department of Human Resources, and CVTL Administration.
CVTL highly values the contribution, dedication, and positive spirit demonstrated by the interns throughout their internship and wishes them continued success in their studies and future professional journeys.
