CVTL Conducts Two-Day Annual Planning Meeting for 2026 at the CVTL National Headquarters in Formosa, Dili.

Dili, 26–27 November 2025 – Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL) held a two-day annual planning meeting at the CVTL National Headquarters in Formosa, Dili, bringing together key leaders and partners to jointly review priorities and develop the Annual Plan for 2026.

Branch Coordinators from all 13 branches, along with Department Coordinators, Managers, and staff, participated in the workshop. The meeting also received contributions from international partners, including: Ms. Kathryn Clarkson, Head of Delegation and Representative to ASEAN, Country Cluster for Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, and Timor-Leste. During the opening session, Secretary General Agapito da Silva emphasized the importance of the annual planning process, stating that the Annual Plan serves as a crucial guide to ensure CVTL remains focused on its services throughout the year, helping identify priorities and monitor implementation.

Other speakers also highlighted the value of collectively identifying priorities aligned with CVTL’s strategic plan to ensure effective and impactful programming in 2026.

CVTL expressed our appreciation to the Australian Red Cross, American Red Cross, ICRC and IFRC for their continuous support in facilitating the annual planning process, which remains an essential part of strengthening CVTL’s humanitarian services.
