CVTL Bids Farewell and Thanks to Dedicated Volunteers Mana Yurika and Maun Camilo

The Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL) extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mana Yurika and Maun Camilo for their outstanding dedication and contributions during their time as professional volunteers with the organization.

Mana Yurika, a volunteer from Japan through the JICA program, served in the Organization Development and Youth Department from 2023 to 2025. Her work brought fresh perspectives and valuable support to CVTL’s youth engagement initiatives, making a lasting impact on both the department and the broader community.

Maun Camilo, a local Timorese volunteer with strong expertise in information technology, worked with the External Relations Department from 2024 to 2025. His skills in digital tools and communications played a key role in strengthening CVTL’s outreach and connectivity with partners and stakeholders.

Both volunteers shared their gratitude and fond memories of working with CVTL. “We are sad to leave, but very happy for everything we learned, the people we met, and the warm environment that made us feel at home,” they said in a farewell message to the CVTL staff WhatsApp group. CVTL wishes Mana Yurika and Maun Camilo continued success in their future endeavors and hopes they carry fond memories of their time with us.
