Dili, 23/11/23 – This week on Radio Metro Live Talk Show – CVTL focused on World Hand Washing Day and the COVID-19 situation. Last month was World Hand Washing Month (October 15th). This event is dedicated and celebrated around the world to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of hand washing with soap, through an effective means to prevent illness and save lives.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, this has become even more critical, with frequent hand washing and mask-wearing being strongly advocated to prevent the spread of the virus to the community.
The Talk show also discussed the current situation of COVID-19 throughout the world and Timor-Leste and how we should still be aware that it is in the community.
