The Secretary General of CVTL, Mr. Agapito Soares, together with all CVTL staff, and accompanied by the President of the CVTL Board, Mrs. Madalena Soares Hanjam, and all board members from both the branch and national levels, would like to extend our warm congratulations on the occasion of International Volunteer Day.
We especially acknowledge the volunteers who are serving under extremely difficult conditions in conflict-affected countries such as Gaza and other nations. We also extend our deepest appreciation to volunteers working tirelessly during the year-end disaster situations affecting the Bali, Philippines, Darwin, Sumatra and Aceh, Malaysia, and other countries facing crises. Your dedication is truly invaluable.
To all CVTL Active and Professional Volunteers in Timor-Leste, you deserve our highest respect, praise, and gratitude. You are the heart of CVTL and the driving force of our humanitarian mission. Without your volunteer spirit, we would not be able to support vulnerable communities in times of disaster, conflict, and in everyday life.
We also honor and remember volunteers who lost their lives in service or who have passed away. Our thoughts and respect remain with you always.
