Position Title: Finance officer Grade:4 Level: 1 |
Objective: Effectively approved and efficient support for the finance coordinator, particularly GCF-UNEP funds for the CBEWS program and CVTL staff needs. |
Reports to: CVTL National Finance Coordinator |
Responsibilities 1. Project Financial monitoring: a. Daily monitoring of finance for humanitarian projects or specific projects of CVTL. b. Ensuring compliance of project expenditures with the prepared budget. 2. Project fund management: a. Managing and tracking project funds to ensure efficient utilization. b. Ensuring that each expenditure aligns with project terms and requirements. 3. Project financial reporting: a. Preparing periodic financial reports for project. b. Presenting relevant financial analysis to the finance Manager or project Manager. 4. Coordination with project team: a. Coordinating with the project team to understand financial needs and preparing project budgets. b. Providing financial support to the project team as requested. 5. Adherence to compliance principles: a. Ensuring that all project financial transactions comply with internal policies and regulations. b. Assisting in preparing documents for internal and external audits. 6. Collaboration with external parties: a. Communicating with donors or project partners regarding project financial matters. b. Providing necessary financial information as requested. 7. Expenditure analysis and efficiency: a. Conducting analysis of project expenditures and making recommendations for efficiency. b. Ensuring project funds are used in line with project goals and organizational policies. |
