Dili, 30 January 2026 – The Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL), in partnership with the Blood Bank Department of Guido Valadares National Hospital (BdS-HNGV) and in collaboration with the Institute of Health Sciences (ICS), successfully conducted a blood donation activity at the ICS campus in Comoro, Dili.
The activity received strong participation from ICS lecturers, students, and volunteer blood donors, reflecting a high level of solidarity and commitment to supporting the community. Their generous contributions play a vital role in saving lives and strengthening the national blood supply.
This initiative aims to support patients in urgent need of blood and to increase the blood stock at Guido Valadares National Hospital, ensuring adequate supplies are available for medical emergencies.
