Purpose of the Job Project Managers report to Coordinator. Managing staff, projects and activities in 4 municipalities (Aileu, Dili, Baucau and RAEOA) in 4 villages and make decisions delegated by the coordinator. |

Responsibilities: 1. Planning, implementation, evaluation, monitoring and reporting of CVTL activities · Plan and Implement Livelihood and DRR activities in line with the approved plans and budgets and finance procedures · Develop monitoring and supervision tools with the support of the DM team · Monitor and control the quality of the project implementation in the communities and report any difficulty or problem to the DM coordinator · Assist in the preparation of annual activity plans and reports · Inform the Coordinator on any changes in budget and activities on a regular basis · Manage and solve problems in implementation of activities in line with approved plans and budgets and finance procedures · Collect and organize all field supervision weekly/monthly reports and progress, and transmit it to the coordinator; · Reports immediately any delay or problem encountered; · Contribute to the production of timely reports (narrative) – monthly, intermediate and final reports to the line managers · Assist and support the project implementation in 4 villages in 4 municipalities 2. Management of project resources and finances · Ensure the implementation of CVTL activities follows the CVTL policies and rules and regulations · Maintain accurate records and registers of project assets and resources in cooperation with Logistics and Finance · Organise and facilitate training and workshops for in national and branch level · Prepare and manage annual budgets for projects · Control and tracking project budget and expenditure on a monthly basis 3. Staff management · Monitor and Manage field officer tasks, performance and attendance · Ensure good quality work is done by staff · Organise and facilitate quarterly meetings and workshops for staff · Provide performance review for project staff · Provide training/capacity building to the project staff and volunteers
4. Coordination and communication · Coordinate with project partners and other relevant stakeholders on existing projects in National and Municipality level · Represent Coordinators at events in national and international meetings as well in working groups · Participate in all related coordination meetings (saving and loan, DRM, etc) and relevant stakeholders meeting at municipality and National level · Regular communicate with DM team, project officer and relevant partners through email, WhatsApp and phone call
5. Other duties · Help implement disaster risk management (preparedness, response and recovery) activities in national, regional, branch and community level · Volunteer for up to 4 hours per week with CVTL · Other tasks as delegated by the coordinator from time to time |
