CVTL Enhances Volunteer Capacity with PMER Training in Ainaro and Manufahi
From February 4–7, 2025, the Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL), through its Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (PMER) Officers, conducted a comprehensive training on PMER tools at its Ainaro and Manufahi branches. The training aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of volunteers, branch coordinators, and Integrated Community-Based Risk Reduction (ICBRR) project officers to enhance project implementation and reporting.
Facilitated by CVTL PMER Officer Adao Hornai, the session provided participants with an in-depth understanding of PMER tools, effective data collection methods, and strategies to improve reporting quality. Through interactive group discussions and practical exercises, attendees gained hands-on experience in using these tools to support community-based projects. The training also prepared participants to assist in the implementation of the ICBRR project in Manelobas, Babulu, and Mindelo.
A total of 24 volunteers and staff members, including 15 females and 9 males, took part in the training. Their participation reflects CVTL’s ongoing commitment to capacity-building at the community level. The training was made possible through funding support from the ICBRR MOFA and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
