CVTL Hosts PMER Guidelines and Reporting Socialization Event in Dili

Dili, Timor-Leste, 18-22 July 2024 – The Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL), encompassing its PMER (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting), Fundraising, National Society Development, and Youth Departments, held a comprehensive socialisation event focused on PMER guidelines and reporting processes. This pivotal event showcased six months of achievements, detailed the budget allocation for BRO (Buka Rasik Osan) activities, and provided updates on the progress of each branch.

During the event, 13 CVTL Branch Coordinators, along with National staff, delivered insightful presentations. These sessions aimed to highlight the progress made in service delivery, meticulously discuss the budgetary aspects of various activities, and address the challenges encountered by the branches. The presentations also included future plans and strategies to further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CVTL’s operations across the nation.

The primary objective of this event was to ensure a transparent and cohesive understanding among all stakeholders regarding the advancements and financial aspects of CVTL’s initiatives. By fostering open discussions and collaborative problem-solving, the event aimed to streamline reporting processes and optimize resource allocation. This initiative underscores CVTL’s commitment to accountability and continuous improvement in delivering humanitarian services.

The event was made possible through the generous support of the Australian Red Cross (ARC), which provided essential funding. This collaboration highlights the importance of international partnerships in strengthening the capacities of national societies like CVTL, enabling them to better serve their communities and respond to local needs effectively.
