On International Volunteer Day, the Secretary General of Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL), Mr. Luis Pedro Pinto, extends his heartfelt gratitude to volunteers worldwide, with a special message for CVTL’s own dedicated volunteers. Under this year’s theme, #ProtectHumanity, Mr. Pinto emphasizes the critical role volunteers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities.
“Our volunteers, spread across 13 branches throughout Timor-Leste, embody the true spirit of compassion and commitment,” said Mr. Pinto. He acknowledged their unwavering dedication to serving humanity, often going above and beyond to create meaningful change in their communities.
