On November 26-27, 2024, the Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste (CVTL) organized a two-day meeting at the CVTL National Building NHQ Formosa in Dili to discuss the organization’s annual plan for 2025. The gathering brought together Branch Coordinators from 13 branches, Department Coordinators, Managers, and staff to chart the roadmap for the upcoming year.
During the opening session, CVTL Secretary General Luis Pedro Pinto emphasized the importance of the annual plan as a guiding framework for achieving the organization’s goals. “The annual plan serves as a guider to help CVTL stay focused and aligned in our mission,” he remarked. His message underscored the collaborative effort required to ensure the plan’s relevance and effectiveness.
The two-day meeting included workshops and discussions, enabling participants to identify priorities, set objectives, and allocate resources effectively. The active engagement of all attendees highlighted CVTL’s commitment to a transparent and inclusive planning process that reflects the needs of its stakeholders and communities.
CVTL expressed gratitude to the Australian Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for their invaluable support in facilitating the planning process. Their contributions played a vital role in ensuring the meeting’s success and equipping CVTL to continue its humanitarian mission in 2025.
