Dili, November 7, 2023, CVTL signed an agreement with CARE International to strengthen the capacity of GMF (Group Maintenance Facilitators) in carrying out operations and maintenance for water supply to communities, and support the health system in handling COVID-19.
The objective is to raise the preparedness of vulnerable members of society towards humanitarian issues. Before 2022, CARE and CVTL developed a partnership to strengthen local structures for disaster management and response to health and hygiene risks in preparation for future disasters. This partnership was an important step towards collaboration between CVTL and CARE to increase the reduction of disaster risks and emergency preparedness.
